WOMEN’S SPACE - Take a journey through time in Swedish household
-The exhibition Women’s Space - Bodbysund now and then, portrays women’s situation working in the home from as early as the 1850’s. Through the changes in women’s everyday life the visitor will also be able to see how the local area has developed in the last 150 years. The exhibition takes you back in time to show you what life was like for these women.
- Women’s Space deals with the unique and ever changing space for women
- Unique for women is the space every woman carries around with her inside her body. This is where she nurtures her unborn child, something that has not changed since the beginning of time.
- The space of the home however, is different depending on where and when she lived.
