THE HOUSE OF CHEESE – The Emperor’s own palace
The Västerbottensost was created in Burträsk in the early 1870’s and is to this day still produced in our Burträsk dairy.
The House of Cheese is located in connection to the dairy itself and is built to honour the “emperor of cheese”, Västerbottensost.
Behind the glazed facade hides a world of interesting exhibitions, exciting activities and new taste sensations.
